At Soma Retreats, we believe that information alone rarely changes us. We can read books, listen to podcasts, and understand the science, but lasting change happens when those ideas become lived experience. It happens when we slow down, reconnect with our bodies, spend time in nature, share nourishing meals, and feel genuinely supported by a caring community.
Our retreats are designed to create the conditions where this becomes possible. Rooted in modern psychedelic research, trauma-informed care, and a deep respect for expanded states of consciousness, we offer a safe, intentional, and personalized space for preparation, exploration, and integration. We combine evidence-informed therapeutic approaches with mindfulness, movement, breathwork, time in nature, meaningful conversation, nourishing food, and periods of rest and reflection.
Drawing from Compassionate Inquiry (developed by Dr. Gabor Maté), Internal Family Systems, body-centered (somatic) approaches, and the breath, we don’t believe people need to be fixed. We believe each person already possesses an innate wisdom and capacity for healing, growth, and self-understanding. Our role is not to provide the answers, but to help create the conditions where your own wisdom can emerge.
While psychedelic experiences can be profound, they are only one part of the journey. Lasting transformation is often shaped by the preparation beforehand, the relational support during the experience, and the integration that follows. We believe these elements are just as important as the experience itself.

Our commitment is simple: to minimize risk, maximize safety, and offer a grounded, compassionate space where people can reconnect with themselves, with others, and with the natural world.
